Bab Rizq Jameel Egypt is one of the social initiatives of the Abdul Latif Jameel Company, which is registered at the Ministry of Solidarity No. 569 for the year 2008 and has a license from the Financial Regulatory Authority No. 1114 for the year 2015.

Bab Rizq Jameel Egypt actually started working in Egypt in February 2009 and acquired during the first year a large percentage of the microfinance market in Egypt until it assumed its position within the first category of microfinance companies and institutions in Egypt and was ranked among the 12 largest institutions and companies working in the field of microfinance in Egypt .

Since the beginning of Bab Rizq Jameel’s work in Egypt, which exceeded thirteen years, it has been a strong competitor in the microfinance market, and was able to gain the trust of its clients through good dealings, transparency and disclosure to them over those years. Indeed, he led the right developmental thought based on scientific foundations for microfinance.

Bab Rizq Jameel Egypt also initiated a free training program on the concepts and science of microfinance for colleagues working in the field of microfinance in general and at the level of all entities operating in Egypt. The training also extended outside Egypt, where these training courses were provided to colleagues working in the field in Saudi Arabia, Syria and Lebanon The training also included distinguished clients in some financial matters directly related to their work, in order to implement the comprehensive concept of microfinance by providing non-financial services to them.
